The Akagera National Park is Rwanda’s biggest Park located in the eastern part of the country with a drive time of about 2 hours and 30 minutes from the main capital Kigali.
A 5 hours drive will take you to Nyungwe forest National Park from Rwanda’s Capital Kigali. The park is located in the south western part of Rwanda covering an area of over 1000Sq Km about 600 square miles.
Volcanoes National Park is found in the North eastern part of Rwanda with only a 2 hours drive from the main Capital Kigali.It was first gazetted in 1925 and is said to be Africa’s first National park.
